From an idea by Vittorio Sgarbi, an exhibition curated by Manuel Carrera and Daniela Ferrari, open at MART Rovereto.
The exhibition Fausto Pirandello. Il dramma della pittura reconstructs through about 50 works the pictorial path of Fausto Pirandello (1899-1975), according to a thematic approach that highlights the strongly introspective character of his painting.
Also part of the exhibition is the poignant Figura meravigliata of 1934, an oil on panel painting from the collections of the Galleria d'Arte Moderna (inv. AM 1676), a significant example of Pirandello's mature period, characterised by the expressionism of the 'Roman School' and an exaggerated representation of humanity.
