- notification of any inefficiencies.
Although the historical character of the buildings prevents, in some cases, the total removal of architectural barriers, the museums work to ensure access to their historic and artistic heritage by the widest possible public.
The wadrobe service is free of charge, included in the ticket price, and self-managed.
In order to protect the works of art, the staff may request that bulky bags, backpacks, umbrellas and other potentially harmful objects be left in the wardrobe area.
Items left in the self-service wardrobe must be collected before the museums close.
The use of a baby pram is admitted inside the museum.
EDUCATIONAL AND GUIDED TOURS
A guided tour service is available in several languages, for a fee and by prior arrangement, with a choice of museum and/or exhibition route. For information and reservations: 060608 daily from 9.00 to 19.00
The museum staff provides visitors with information on the museum's routes, services and events and checks that the museum's rules of behaviour are respected. At the museum sites there is constant and direct supervision and control of the collections, also during exhibitions, concerts, conferences and other cultural activities.
In addition to the catalogue of the current exhibition, ample space is dedicated to monographs of the artists working in Rome present in the collection, to the catalogues of the other exhibitions in the Roma Capitale museum circuit, without neglecting a look at contemporary art of an international nature, with a choice that embraces art publishing from the historic names to the most up-and-coming. You can buy online the Museum's guides and catalogues.
The service also offers a selection of objects inspired by the Museums' collections.
